How Mygate makes you "accidentally" click on ads:
MyGate is a society access management app that helps you track entry and exit times for your guests/deliveries/etc. So the primary reason for someone to open the app is to either check who quoted your house number while they entered, or for you to create a pre-approval for someone you are expecting.
So you open the app, and right at the top you see the activity bubbles. Just as you're about to tap on one of those bubbles (to check who entered or to create a pre-approval), the ads right above the bubbles expand and you end up tapping one of the ads!
That's one sneaky (and annoying for us users) way to increase taps on their ads.
